Issue:

Alarm paging fails when the pager identification number (pin) includes hyphens (a.k.a. dashes).

Resolution:

Do not use hyphens in the PIN field of the pager editor.

Notes:

1. Many paging/phone companies reject the PIN if it includes hyphens.
2. Our panel will dial the phone company modem and appear to send the message successfully but the alarm is never received.
3.TracerSummitand Tracker II software allows you to enter any number or character in the Pager PIN field.
