Voyager Microcontrols (UCP) Service & Diagnostic Manual

Overview:

The Voyager Micro was developed with two specific thoughts in mind: comfort and reliability. It provides Proportional/Integral control for superior temperature control and eliminates the need to add time delay relays or anti-short cycle timers in the field. The Micro also reduces the number of parts in the control system, which means fewer parts to fail and troubleshoot. In the unlikely event that a problem does occur, the Micro's on-board diagnostics are there to assist and get you back on line fast. Trane is a pioneer in the HVAC industry and has extensive experience in the design of hardware and software. 

This manual provides the information necessary to proficiently troubleshoot the Voyager 3-25 ton UCP controlled models. This publication covers UCP controls only. This publication does not cover all aspects of service. It assumes the service person is an experienced commercial service technician with a strong background in electrical controls and DC circuits. If you are not experienced and fully qualified in HVAC service, do not attempt to use this manual to service equipment. Read this manual thoroughly before operating or servicing this unit.
