TRELLO Login Issue

Some TRELLO Enterprise users might face some issues in logging to their TRELLO accounts. This article describes the issue and details the steps to be taken.

Brief Background: 
- TRELLO has been acquired by ATLASSAIN few years ago. ATLASSIAN is a company having several products like Jira, Confluence, BitBucket etc. Now TRELLO is also a part of ATLASSIAN.

- ATLASSIAN is enforcing some authentication policies from 2022 and as per that, access to all ATLASSIAN products should go via ATLASSIAN Access. What this means is:
 (1) All enterprise TRELLO users should have Atlassian account.
      This task of creating Atlassian account for all TRELLO users is completed.

 (2) These Atlassian accounts should be linked with the TRELLO accounts.
      Most user profiles got linked with Atlassian and should be able to login to TRELLO at          https://trello.com/login with their email and network password.
     But there might be few users whose Atlassian accounts are not linked with TRELLO accounts.
     (these users are the ones who have their TRELLO profiles created before ATLASSIAN acquired           TRELLO).  
     -This article is to help such users. These users need to perform the below steps to get into                 TRELLO.


Steps to be followed to connect your Atlassian account with TRELLO account: 

[Step 1] Navigate to https://trello.com/login ;  click on the "Can't log in" link (Highlighted in yellow in below screen – Fig 1).

Clicking on the Can’t log in? link will display the below screen (Fig 2):

After entering the email and clicking on Send Recovery Link , the below screen will appear. Refer to Fig 3

[Step 2] You should receive an email. The email will look similar to the screenshot as shown below. Refer Fig 4.

Click on Connect accounts button in the email.

[Step 3] Clicking on Connect accounts will display the below screen. Refer Fig 5.

Click on the Continue button.

[Step 4] Clicking on the Continue button above will display the below screen. Refer Fig 6.

Fig 6:

Click on Continue to Atlassian button.

[Step 5] Clicking on Continue to Atlassian button, will display the below screen.
Enter your email and your network password and you should be able to login to TRELLO. Refer to Fig 7.
